Located
in the exclusive Bridges at Rancho Santa Fe community, the project proposes a
privately owned full service tennis complex consisting of five tennis courts,
with one primary tournament court, a tennis pro-shop, food and beverage
facility, shower and locker room facilities and an office. Additional sporting
facilities proposed include a multi-sport court, bocce court, and handball
court. Other accessory amenities and structures such as trellis (shade
structures), BBQ equipment and sitting areas, play equipment, and picnic areas,
parking lot, landscaped areas, storm drainage facilities, tennis court lighting
and informational signage are also proposed, as necessary. An entry gate
to the site is also proposed as a part of the project.

The tennis
complex site is approximately 5.8 acres of land located within the Santa Fe
Creek Specific Plan (SP92-001), recently amended by Specific Plan Amendment
(SPA) 03-006 at the Board of Supervisors hearing held on January 30, 2008.
This project is within the San Dieguito Community Plan, located in northeast
Rancho Santa Fe.
